The Garden of Eden

Hi, my name is Eden. I live in California and my home has got a beautiful garden at the back. The garden is big and there are many plants and trees adorning it. We keep our garden neat and tidy. My husband does a lot of outdoor work in this garden.

He has got this wonderful garden tool set with 15 different pieces. The various gardening tools include three chrome plated steel digging tools and a by-pass pruner.



Our vertical garden shed is an ideal storage option for our heavy duty gardening tools and equipment such as our lawnmower and hedge trimmers. All our things are kept safe, secured and covered from the sun, wind, rain and thieves.

We got this beautiful corner shelf for our storage shed. It looks real cool and does a good job too.

This Garden of Eden is as good as the biblical one.

Effective Laundry Storage Options

There are various practical and stylish storage solutions for your laundry. It does not matter whether you use them for your dirty clothes and linens, or for those that have already been washed.

I chose a beautiful hamper (with lid) that I kept in the dining room. It comes in a woven wicker outer shell and gives an elegant touch to the area.



There is another metallic hamper and waste can set that looks very sturdy and elegant. I would have definitely purchased this set if it had not been for the fact that I already had a couple of laundry hampers at home.

The Crafty Homemaker

Hey, I’m one of those folks who are interested in craftwork. It keeps me busy even after I have finished all my household chores. Craftwork keeps me on my toes and gives a new meaning to my life.

The 24 Compartment Box, shown above, takes care of most of my craftwork essentials like beads, screws, nails and other hardware items. The 24 compartments of this plastic organizer help me arrange my stuff in a very efficient way.

This foldable sewing box was an excellent purchase. It has everything I could possibly want for sewing such as 24 safety pins, a tailor’s chalk, a thimble, a small scissors and several spools of thread.

By the way, I am fond of keeping scrapbooks as well, and so I decided on a pretty scrapbook case. This clear plastic case allows me to see the contents clearly. There are scrapbook pages, stickers and photos inside the case besides some tools for maintaining scrapbooks.

Our Nursery – A Place of Fun and Frolic

I have recently furnished and decorated the nursery for my little child. This place is full of fun and frolic as we try to entertain that pretty creature. There is a variety of play things readily available for the amusement of my daughter.

Since there were many toys that could quickly make the room appear messy, I purchased this beautiful toy organizer to keep all the playthings in a neat and orderly manner.





This is a lovely frog hamper that I saw on the web and bought in order to keep the dirty laundry in the nursery. This hamper can be folded and opened easily and can even be taken to picnics due to its light weight.



Afterwards we decided to settle for this elegant airplane lamp that creates a pleasant glow in the room while adding an element of fun as well. Now, I wish I had a nursery like this when I was a kid myself.

The Neat Bathroom

The Bathroom is very often the area given the least attention when it comes to furnishing homes. However, I felt it was very important not to give step-motherly treatment to this area of my home. So, I opted for some new furniture, fittings, fixtures and other products that would enliven this cleaning and bathing area.

I just love dolphins and so I got this lovely blue dolphin faucet fountain for our bathroom sink. This attachment lends a neat and elegant touch to my bathroom.




And then there’s the towel rack that provides hanging space for our towels and items of clothing. This metal fixture comes in an attractive finish to enhance the appearance of my bathroom.

I intend to but this lovely wicker wire cabinet with four drawers for my bathroom. There is a decorative black metal frame for this cabinet that makes it look quite nice.

A Visit to My Hubby's Office

Once in a while I visit my husband when he’s busy at work in his office. His office is tidy and well organized as one would expect from a person of his upbringing. I give him some valuable tips on the furnishing and decoration of his office, but on the whole, he manages it well on his own.



He has bought a contemporary looking computer workstation that houses the various components of his computer systems and lots more. The printer has been kept at the top of the hutch on the right hand side. This arrangement is wonderful as my hubby can work in absolute convenience.

My husband also decided to purchase an exquisite modular corner desk (shown above) for his main assistant. This employee is extremely happy with this desk and his performance has improved a lot since this purchase.



The filing cabinet (with baskets) selected by my husband is very stylish and gives a chic look to his office. He keeps his files and miscellaneous items in the baskets. All these pieces of furniture (mentioned above) add to the functionality and appearance of his workplace.

The Kitchen of My Dreams

Hey, I’m one of those housewives who really take great pains and care in the maintenance of a neat and clean home. It is said that “Home is where the heart is,” and my heart will forever be in my home. It is the place that I love the best. Like you folks, I do a lot to improve its appearance. The area in my home for which most of my efforts have been focused on is the kitchen. I have tried a lot to make it the kitchen of my dreams.

Since there is a vast collection of knives in my arsenal, I have this Utensil Organizer for keeping my knives and other utensils in place. Just take a look at this wonderful knife storage option.

Our Uncluttered Bedroom

Since a very early age, my husband has been some sort of a cleanliness freak. He has been quick to dispose off unwanted stuff and has only kept important papers over the years. This trait has probably helped in his development into a successful businessman. He even keeps the workspace in his office very well organized too.

Our bedroom is well organized with a few important things kept in the right place. He decided on having under-the-bed storage and so opted for this pine wood bed (and drawers) that could accommodate this type of storage facility. Our stuff is free from dust and damage when they are stored in these drawers.

We have also settled for a big armoire with shelves and drawers for keeping our clothes and linens in an orderly fashion.

Then there is the 3 drawer chest – an exquisite piece of furniture that comes in an elegant finish. We can store plenty of essentials in these drawers.





With all these exquisite pieces of furniture, our bedroom has become as uncluttered as ever.

Inside the Big Apple

Catherine, my daughter, was a student of English literature staying in a tiny room in the Big Apple. Things were quite messy, at first, with clothes strewn all over the place and stuff lying scattered about. Visitors who dropped in even compared her room to a pig sty. So, she decided to change her habits and live in a more orderly manner. When she saw this Over-the-Door Coat Rack, she knew that it would come in handy. And it sure did. Now her coats, shirts and other clothes are taken care of.

Then she decided to keep my magazines in an organized way. It was around that time when I stumbled upon this magnificent magazine rack at an online site. It looks quite chic, and is very useful as well.

After buying all these products for her room, she has converted it from a pig sty to a “Heaven on Earth.” Nowadays, she gets praised for her room instead of those ridicules and criticisms.

A Heaven on Earth

There’s nothing in this world that looks as cool as a well organized home. I just love my home because it is just that – “Well Organized.” There is a lot of ambiguity in the minds of people as to what constitutes a “Well Organized Home.” Well, let me remove that ambiguity by simply describing my home. It’s truly a heaven on earth with everything arranged in a systematic manner. You don’t have to hunt around for things as every single thing has a specific place for it.

Just check out the image of the Banana Tree and Fruit Bowl that I bought for my home recently. This is one instance of keeping your things, in this case the fruits, in a neat and orderly way. The kitchen cabinets I purchased allow me to keep my unused cooking appliances, canned foods and other things in a systematic manner. When things are kept systematically, I can find whatever I need in a jiffy. My life has become much easier as everything is in the right place at the right time.
