Thank God for Trash Cans!

Research shows that on an average a man produces 7 times his body weight in waste and rubbish each year. So this means each man produces around 2 pounds of waste on a single day basis average. The refuse produced can be broadly classified as recyclable and non-recyclable garbage. Recyclable garbage includes paper waste and other dry waste, food waste or wet waste, and metal waste. Non-recyclable waste includes some metals that cannot be recycled or disposed and plastic waste.

Just imagine our sorry state in the absence of trash cans considering the amount of waste each one of us produces every single day.

Trash cans, as we are all aware, are containers designed to hold waste and dross until it can be disposed off. They are indispensable home products that help you organize your home and keep it litter-free. Trash cans are also called dustbin, garbage bin, rubbish bin or litter bin. Trash cans, in particular, are bins used essentially in the house. They are small and portable so that they can fit in any place and can be carried with ease.

Trash cans are either made of metal or plastic. Trash bags that are ideal for plastic and paper waste are also available. Mesh trash cans, perforated trash cans and other stylish trash cans look good in the office spaces where mostly dry junk is generated. Step cans and swing cans are another popular variety and most households have it.
